  • How do I place an order?

  • I live in Detroit, is it possible to pickup my order?
    Safety is our top priority at Amber's Cakery. We do not offer pickup for desserts due to the pandemic as well as ensuring our personal safety as we bake from our personal home. Pickup is ONLY for cake orders. We understand that you may live nearby, but in order to minimize risks please understand that these rules are set in place to benefit everyone. Thank you!
  • How early in advance should I place a custom order?
    Custom or catered desserts must be ordered and paid within 10 business days minimum. (This does not include weekends and National Holidays). Any orders needed in less time will be charged a rush fee that varies per order.
  • How long after I order should I expect my desserts to be ready for shipping
    Because our desserts are so popular, and currently we only have one chef in the kitchen, it is easier for us to have PRE-ORDERS. Items are shipped within 2-3 weeks. We will send tracking information once your order ships, and there you can find the date your lovely babies will be sent to your door!
  • Why is your processing time longer than most businesses?
    Our processing time is longer because we are a Small Business. Our team consists of one person, Amber. So please be patient as we are mixing your cookies and cakes as fast as possible while still maintaining great quality!
  • Where is my tracking number for my order?
    Tracking information will be sent close to the shipment date so don’t worry if you don’t get one right away, we didn’t forget about you! 😁
  • Why are your shipping prices different from other businesses?
    We provide perishable items meaning they must be shipped quickly to maintain peak freshness for the customer. Our desserts are also bigger than your typical bakery which adds to the weight of your package. To guarantee your cookies are received moist and safe to eat, we choose some of the highest-speed shipping available.
  • Do you bake anything that's not on the menu?
    ALL THE TIME ! We always come up with ideas or our customers suggest flavors they’d like to see on the menu. If you have any ideas or would like to make your own custom order feel free to email us.
